Shopping

Edinburgh has a fantastic selection of shops to cater to all tastes and budgets. We have old department stores such as Jenners on Princes Street and the old fashioned Grays of George Street who sell household products.

Newer to Edinburgh is Harvey Nichols alongside the wonderful selection of boutiques and shops in George Street
For those who love fresh produce, The Edinburgh Farmers Market is on every Saturday at Castle Terrace and has become a firm favourite with discerning food shoppers in the city.

You will never have to walk far to find a unique shop in Edinburgh. All tastes are catered for with lots of independent shops. A fabulous selection can be found within the Grassmarket area including vintage shops such as Armstrongs.
When it's pouring with rain, then you may want to go shopping indoors at places such as The Gyle Centre or Ocean Terminal which offer free parking. Retails parks such as The Quarry at Craigleith and Fort Kinnaird also offer free parking, but are in open spaces with only partial cover between shops.
