Since 1995, the Edinburgh Mela Festival has celebrated the arts & cultures of the city's minority ethnic groups.

Usually running for a few days before or after the Edinburgh Festival, it provides an additional splash of exotic colour and atmosphere to the city with a programme of music, dance and cultural and educational events.
