The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival usually takes place just before the Edinburgh International Festival and brings a strong line-up of world-class jazz and blues musicians to the city.

As well as performances in venues around Edinburgh, The Jazz & Blues Festival also includes the free Mardi Gras in the Grassmarket as well as Jazz On A Summer's Day, another free event at the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens.
