The Beltane Fire Festival, which takes place every year on the 30th April, is a celebration of Scotland's ancient Celtic roots.

A night-time event culminating in a spectacular finale on Calton Hill, Beltane is one of four festivals organised by the Beltane Fire Society, the others being events held at each seasonal equinox, including Samhuinn, which happens to coincide with Halloween!
