The Edge Festival rose from the ashes of the T on the Fringe splinter festival and provides a healthy dose of modern rock and pop into the already heady mix of August festival proceedings.

In both incarnations, it has attracted some top names, including Radiohead, Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro and Faith No More.
