The listings for Edinburgh’s Doors Open days 2017 are available now via the Doors Open Days website.
We love the excellent Doors Open Days held across Scotland. In Edinburgh the doors will be open to the public on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September 2017. The events are run by the Cockburn Association.
Fascinating buildings are opening their doors over the weekend for free. Some will be for the first time, some will be once in a lifetime, but they are all normally closed to the public (or charge an admission fee).
There are around 100 places to visit this year and they’re all free!
A series of talks to attend during the week beginning 18 September (free).
Please check the dates and times carefully of where you want to go as some places are only open either Saturday or Sunday but some are both days. Hard copies of the programme will be available in Edinburgh libraries from early September.
Lothian Buses Central Depot
Lothian Buses will be opening their doors again on Saturday 23rd September from 1200 – 1600 hours.
There will be lots for children to do too including the chance to sit on a bus and go through the bus wash!
Donations will be gratefully received for Macmillan Cancer Support.
