The 2017 Edinburgh International Festival Fireworks Concert will take place on Monday 28th August at 9pm in Princes Street Gardens (fireworks being at 9.30pm).
In a celebration of dance, the concert sets stirring and delightful music with an outstanding and sparkling visual extravaganza. The breathtaking fireworks display is specially choreographed by international fireworks artists Pyrovision.
Tickets are available for the Ross Bandstand and Princes Street Gardens are available through the Edinburgh International Festival website.
Over 400,000 fireworks choreographed to live orchestral music played by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra will light up the sky over Edinburgh against the unique backdrop of the iconic Castle. The event – the largest fireworks concert of its type in the world – is enjoyed by around 250,000 people all over town.

Tickets are not required to watch the Fireworks at the viewing area at Inverleith Park.
You can also watch the Fireworks from locations such as Calton Hill, Salisbury Crags, Bruntsfield Links etc. Anywhere with a view of Edinburgh Castle is good as the fireworks light up the Edinburgh sky.
