As part of Edinburgh’s Christmas, St Andrew’s Day celebrations in Edinburgh will fittingly take place in St Andrew Square on Sunday 29th November. There will be no finer place to celebrate Scotland’s national day. The St Andrew’s Day celebrations are part of Scotland’s Winter Festivals.

FREE TICKETS to Edinburgh Castle, Craigmillar Castle and other Historic Scotland properties.

FREE TICKETS to Holyrood Palace on Sunday 29th November.

Many tourist attractions in Edinburgh will also offer 2 for 1 tickets and free child places for a two week period in November.

From 10am until 10pm, St Andrew Square will host a diverse selection of fun, family-friendly free events including:

Free performances from Dean Owens & The Whisky Hearts, Scots Makr Liz Lochhead, Royal Scottish Country Dancing, and, on the Main Stage, The Banana Sessions, Blazin’ Fiddles and much more.

Around the site, you will find face painting, a Haggis Hunt for the young at heart and the delights of the Scottish Market.
