FRINGE PREVIEW – Elliot Bibby, Bibism

Fringe 2014

Elliot Bibby makes his solo debut at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe

B’-ib-ism – Adjective – Informal

Something insanely stupid yet said so innocently – but after pondered, is genius.

Edinburgh’s Elliot Bibby will be performing his crazy, fast paced show for the first time in Edinburgh this year.

His show promises to be ‘crammed full of magic, from start to finish’. We’ve seen him perform locally over the last few years and can’t wait to see his first solo show.

Tell us a little bit about your show
Lots of magic, with something that will be relevant to everyone. It’s going to be a little bit crazy, but very entertaining.

What are you most looking forward to about performing at the Fringe?
To be able to promote my own show, and have people come and see me.

There’s a gratifying feeling about having your own show, in which you’ve worked hard to put together. I’m looking forward to getting out on stage each night and putting a smile on peoples faces.

If money was no object, what publicity stunt would you do to promote your show?
I would make a moving train disappear from the Forth Rail Bridge.

Who else are you planning or hoping to see?
I’ll definitely be going to see Chris Dugdale, Colin Cloud, the Forensic Mind Reader and The Colour Ham.

As someone who lives in Edinburgh, what advice would you give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?
Bring a waterproof jacket and sun glasses – the weather can change in an instant!

What do you have planned for after the Fringe?
I’ll be performing and different events and functions all around the county. All my performances are listed on my website.

Sum up your show in three words for us:
Wild, Slick, Enjoyable
