The Gumball Rally 3000 comes to Edinburgh, 7th & 8th June 2014

After an incredible 15th Anniversary Rally between Copenhagen and Monaco, Gumball 3000 is revving things up for 2014. With a route kicking off in South Beach, Miami and finishing in the party capital of Ibiza, the 2014 Rally is going to be the biggest yet – for the drivers, and for the fans.

It promises to be a fantastic spectator event for Edinburgh residents, with 120 supercars being flown to Scotland from America.

Saturday 7th June

In celebration of Gumball 3000’s first visit to Edinburgh The Rutland Hotel are hosting a street party!

On Saturday 7th June you can join a host of Gumball 3000 rally drivers as they display their super cars outside the hotel. From 12 noon there will be music to get in the spirit of the event, as well as balloon entertainers and face painters to keep the little ones entertained. Mingle with the drivers who will be registering for the rally in The Kyloe Private Dining Room, between 2pm and 4.30pm, and see what famous faces you can spot.

There will be around 20 Gumball 3000 cars displayed outside, and they are not to be missed – some have been specially customised for the rally.

Sunday 8th June – The Mound

Sunday June 8th sees an early start for the Gumball teams. From 9am until 11am, the Gumballers will congregate at the National Galleries of Scotland, situated on The Mound in Edinburgh. Free to attend.

2014, more than ever, will also be about the fans. Everywhere Gumball goes, thousands come out to catch a glimpse of the supercars and superstars at the free public events. From beach concerts to VIP Kids Zones to skate demos to DJ sets, mini festivals and car displays, there will be something for everyone in all of the Gumball city stops.
