PREVIEW – Dragon, National Theatre of Scotland, Traverse Theatre

A co-production between the National Theatre of Scotland, Vox Motus and the Tianjin People’s Arts Theatre from China, Dragon tells the wordless tale of young Tommy, who feels alone and disconnected from the world following the death of his mother. Until one day, when opening his bedroom curtains, he’s greeted with a most extraordinary sight.

Using visual storytelling, puppetry and illusion, Dragon has impressed critics after a successful opening run in Glasgow. Now playing in Inverness, it will soon spread its wings and head south, where the production will be opening at the Traverse Theatre on Wednesday 30th October.

Suitable for children of nine and older, Dragon will breathe its magic over spellbound audiences until Sat 2nd November, with a matinee performance at 10.30am on that most magical of dates, October 31st.

Tickets and further information is available from the National Theatre of Scotland website.
