We love the excellent Doors Open Days held across Scotland in Edinburgh the doors will be open to the public on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2013. The events are run by the Cockburn Association.

Fascinating buildings open their doors on over the weekend for free. Some will be for the first time, some will be once in a lifetime, but they are all normally closed to the public (or charge an admission fee).

Lothian Buses have already announced that they’ll be opening their Central Depot doors on Saturday 28th September.

Brochure download

You can now download a copy of the brochure (opens in a new window, PDF).

The weekend is preceded by a series of talks taking place the week before. More details on the Cockburn Association’s Eventbrite page.

Make sure you mark that weekend in your diary and get planning what you can squeeze into the two days!

Hard copies of the programme will be available in Edinburgh libraries at the beginning of September.
