EVENT – Zoo Nights at Edinburgh Zoo, 24th May & 28th June 2013

New for 2013

Edinburgh Zoo opens after hours for two special nights of fun and entertainment

Edinburgh Zoo Nights is a brand new event launching this spring. It is an adult only after hours event on Friday 24th May and Friday 28th June 2013. Between 6-10pm, this is a ‘night out with a difference’.  You will be able to enjoy a drink whilst visiting your favourite animals, but you can also enjoy the array of entertainment laid on just for you.

The events are a first for the Zoo and a first for Scotland.

The Budongo trail will be transformed into a vintage cocktail tea party with stand-up comedy in the lecture theatre; the central lawn will become a mecca for food and drink; Jungle Café will host the silent disco; education will be home to animal handling sessions; and street performers and musicians will pop up to entertain you along the way. Your taste buds will water with the food and drink on offer – tapas, champagne, seafood, Pimm’s, picnics, street food, cocktails, sushi, fish and chips and a BBQ.

Tickets cost £20 and £17 for members (members can also bring one guest at the discounted rate).
