Love Stockbridge This Christmas and join in the Scottie Dog parade

Christmas campaign 2012

Stockbridge has previously had a giraffe parade, followed by an elephant one, so what’s next?

The Stockbridge Animal Parade is back from 16th November raising money for Stockbridge Charity LifeCare, supporting the independence of older people.

On Friday 16th November, 38 participating Stockbridge businesses will launch their oversized papier mache Scottie Dogs with the encouragement to ‘Love Stockbridge This Christmas!’

There will be a free trail map for everyone to follow and shoppers will need to visit each business to collect their unique stamp in order to enter their completed trail into the adult or child prize draw.

The children’s prize draw could enable budding artists the chanced to win and decorate their very own Scottie Dog; whilst the adult draw could see participants win a hamper of gift vouchers to spend in Stockbridge or even £250 Cash!

Entries must be completed and handed in no later than midday on Wednesday 19th December with a closing party and winners draw on Thursday 20th December at LifeCare on Cheyne Street. Everyone is welcome to attend this community evening from 6:30-8pm (whether you have entered the draw or not) where mulled cider & mince pies will be shared by all. The Scottie Dogs will all be and raffled off to raise funds for LifeCare.

We’ll be taking part in the trail ourselves and will add pictures of the Scottie Dogs as we find them.

Launches on Friday 16th November
