A giant Agitos symbol acknowledging the forthcoming Paralympics, has gone up in Edinburgh at the Mound.
The Paralympics start on 29th August 2012, but Edinburgh is hosting a special Paralympic Flame Festival celebration at Meadowbank from 6pm on Sunday 26th August.

The Paralympic Flame is travelling to each UK Capital before arriving in London to start the Paralympic Games. To celebrate the Scottish Flame coming to Edinburgh an evening celebration of live music and entertainment including performances by Joe McElderry, ‘Pulse of the Place’ Samba band alongside Sing in the City and Edinburgh Signing Choirs will take place at Meadowbank Sport Centre.
The highlight of the event will be a spectacular lantern procession which will accompany eight Torchbearers as they carry the Scottish Flame to light the Ceremonial Cauldron.
