In spite of the heat in Pleasance Grand, Rich Hall manages to exude an effortless cool.
Interweaving stories of his dual life in Britain and America with song, he takes the audience on a journey through the world according to Hall. This is one American who has done his research, winning the audience over with localism yet providing commentary on wider whole world issues with often unpredictable results.
Hall deals with disruption in the room well, thriving on it, expanding his act to include hecklers and those from the upper rows who go outside simply to catch a breath, or some refreshments.
Hall’s act is relaxed, engaging and accessible and gives the impression of a man very much at ease with himself and the Edinburgh Fringe.
