Tell us a little bit about your show – where’s it happening, what’s it about, why should people come to see it?
It’s a stand-up show about facts and trivia. It’s happening at The Stand 5 at 10.05pm pretty much every night. People should come and see it if they like my comedy. If they don’t like my comedy then it’s probably not for them.
What are you most looking forward to about coming back to Edinburgh?
I’ve just joined the Scottish Malt Whisky Society. I’m very excited about spending time there. And maybe for a laugh going in and ordering a Jack Daniels and Coke.
What’s been your favourite / funniest Edinburgh Fringe experience so far?
Seeing Tanya Lee Davis plough a motorised scooter shaped like a football into a crowd of unsuspecting drunk people at 3am on the Perrier party dance floor.
If money was no object, what publicity stunt would you do to promote your show?
I’d fly over a Bengal tiger and let it loose on the flyerers on the Royal Mile. That might get me some more column inches.
Who else are you planning or hoping to see?
Fred Cooke and Liam Mullone. Two incredibly funny men. Fred has this boundless enthusiasm and can’t fail to leave you beaming. Liam is a scathing wit. I think I owe Liam a drink so I definitely have to see him.
What do you have planned for after the Fringe?
I plan to stay in and play with myself for a month, like some sort of masturbatory Howard Hughes.
Sum up your show in three words for us
I’d rather not.
Lloyd Langford: The Cold Hard Facts Of Life runs from 3-28 Aug (not 15) at The Stand. More details are on the Fringe website.
