Forget everything you know about circus…
Forget everything you know about circus…Circolombia, a motley crew of exuberant young artists who paint a freestyle portrait of their world through heart-stopping acrobatic prowess and high voltage energy, make their Edinburgh Festival debut at Assembly this August.
Cricolombia – Intimo Urban combines an unforgettable mix of awe-inspiring acrobatics to reveal a city of joy and violence where dance and music are the safety valves of everyday life.
Set against a pounding soundtrack of Latin-American inspired reggaeton and hip-hop beats, Urban is raw, modern and full of attitude.
The show features fourteen male and two female performers aged 17 – 23 showcasing the very best performers from Colombia’s national circus school Circo Para Todos (Circus For All). The cast are world-class performers on stage and perform with a volcanic energy that can be felt in the very back row.
The show is suitable for all the family and runs daily at 12oo (1310) from 4th – 29th August at Assembly Hall.
