PHOTO – South Queensferry to Dalmeny

One of our favourite walks in Edinburgh is through the Dalmeny Estate. A circular route which leads from South Queensferry through the grounds of Dalmeny House, it hugs the coast for much of the walk, providing spectacular views across the Firth of Forth and of the city to the south.

There are plenty opportunities to leave the path and visit the beautiful and clean beaches en route, before the path passes in front of Dalmeny House itself and winds its way back (via the road) to the historic town of South Queensferry.

These photos are from a recent walk on a blustery but clear winter’s day – we hope you enjoy them.
