The Grind House is one of many cafes in the university/Newington area which always seem saturated with students and young professionals. I chose it because it had a table free, but turned out to be a gem of a place with extremely fast wifi.
I had a turkey, cranberry and salad roll with a side of hand cooked crisps for £3.20 (sit in price) plus a mug of herbal tea at £1.40. No complaints on either the roll or tea and the staff were extremely friendly.
You can also get paninis, baked tatties, good cakes and soft drinks whilst easy-listening music plays at a low level on the stereo. Would definitely pop back if I was in the area rather than try one of the many others around. Definitely has the edge over its’ neighbours.
Suitable for disabled? Yes, ground even access and bathrooms on ground floor.
