We love anything to do with food at Edinburgh Spotlight and one of our favourite events on the calendar is the pre-Christmas Foodies Festival.  Tickets are available now and are valid for all three days. 

Friday 3rd: 12noon – 6pm
Saturday 4th: 10am – 6pm
Sunday 5th: 11am  – 5pm

The Foodies Christmas festival is a seasonal celebration of fine food and drink with festive culinary inspiration.  The finest experts will be on hand to take the panic out of Christmas. Michelin-starred and top chefs, including Tony Borthwick of the Plumed Horse, Mary Contini of Valvona and Crolla and Craig Dunn of Aboad Glasgow, will cook their favourite festive fayre live in the Chefs Theatre (included in price of tickets).

Industry connoisseurs will lead food and drink masterclasses, themed around Christmas entertaining, including chocolate tasting, canapé making, cocktail mixology and wine and food matching as well as cooking with kids masterclasses for budding young chefs. 

It’s a perfecy opportunity to buy some food-related Christmas gifts or just get food  inspiration for the festive season.  

Foodies offers Christmas shopping in style with over 100 exhibitors showcasing local, seasonal produce, and speciality food and drink, in a relaxed atmosphere with mulled wine, carol singing and twinkling Christmas tree lights, with the opportunity to enjoy delicious seasonally inspired dishes from favourite restaurants and winter themed cocktails. 

It’s sure to be a great long weekend and no matter what the weather is like outside, it will be dry and warm inside the Assembly Rooms.
