The White Horse (Venue 296)
Two exciting and talented young comedians for the price of…well, none. Can’t really say fairer than that, can you?
Chortle Best Newcomer Joe Lycett teams up with Hackney Empire New Act of the Year finalist Andrew Ryan in An Hour of Humour at The White Horse as part of PBH’s Free Fringe.
Joe and Andrew will each spend 30 minutes making their comic observations on life: from the ridiculousness of meaningless abbreviations to the bizarre world of lookalikes – with loads more humourous and witty tangents in between.
Joe has been on the comedy circuit since 2008 and has risen through the ranks quickly to emerge as one of the its strongest new talents. Andrew’s wit and charm has gained similar accolades and acclaim, with the Irish comedian reaching the finals of many industry competitions and being compared to the likes of Ardal O’Hanlan in the process.
An Hour Of Humour is one of those shows that does exactly as it says on the tin; though this particular 60-minute comedy container has the bonus of containing two rising stars of the UK’s scene…and costing nothing at all.
