REVIEW – La Partenope, Dalry

Dalry Road

La Partenope bill themselves as a  ‘little corner of Napoli’ in Edinburgh and I couldn’t agree more.  Using the freshest and finest restaurants, the family run restaurant is a regular choice for me.

Visiting for dinner one evening with 3 friends, we had 8 different dishes between us and all of them were given full marks.  One of the starters was this generous portion of mussels.

Chicken dishes were chosen for mains and also this house special of mixed pasta which is presented as well as it can be, but the taste was faultless.

Service is super friendly without being intrusive and water glasses are filled without asking.  All of our desserts were generous and I tucked into this beauty.

We spent a total of 3 hours in this restaurant by the time we had coffee and got the bill (which is served in the cutest little box) and will definitely be back.  La Partenope is only a short walking distance from Haymarket, so don’t rule it out because it’s not slap bang in the middle of town.

Suitable for disabled?    Yes, ground access and bathrooms.
