EVENT – 3 Harbours Seafood Festival, 28 – 30 May

Edinburgh’s neighbouring coastal towns have a long-held tradition of making a living from the sea.

This fact is celebrated for the second year running at the 3 Harbours Seafood Festival in May.

Taking place in and around Prestonpans – one of the ‘three harbours’, with Cockenzie and Port Seton – the Festival will feature music, art and entertainment – and of course fresh, locally-sourced seafood.

A ceilidh will be held on Friday 28th to mark the start of the event, and a seafood banquet at the Prestoungrange Gothenburg on the Saturday evening is another highlight. Real ales, kite flying, music and craft stalls will also add to the festival atmosphere, making this a fun-filled family event which celebrates the area’s rich fishing heritage.

Further details are available on the Festival’s website, the Facebook event page and you can follow news on the Festival on their Twitter account at @3harbourseafood
