There is no Primark store in Edinburgh at present (one is in the making but council planning has yet to be sorted out), so you need to look further afield if you want to stock up with the latest low priced fashions and accessories.
I headed over with 2 mini members of the Spotlight team who now wish to spend their pocket money on clothes. They did a grand job of acquiring 8 t-shirts, pyjamas, shoes and accessories for under £25, making it much easier to handle when they grow out of them all in a couple of months.
There is also a Primark in Stirling, but I find the Dunfermline one better for choice, neatness and layout. They have a large children’s section and menswear in the basement and the ladieswear, shoes and home goods are on the ground floor.
Easy to spend a couple of hours here, if not longer.
How to get there
By car and park at one of the city centre car parks (fee).
By bus and walk a few short minutes.
By train and a walk of 15 minutes.
Suitable for disabled? Yes, there is ground level access and lifts to both floors.
