Are we more envious than ever? Are men greedier than women? What’s the most wrathful part of the UK?

Professor Richard Wiseman of the University of Hertfordshire is hoping to get the answers to some of these questions using an online survey being run as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival.

The survey will be online until April 11th and the results will be announced at the Festival’s Seven Deadly Sins evening at the Jam House on April 12th.

Last year’s Festival survey attracted over 300,000 responses. Dr Simon Gage, director of the Science Festival hopes that this year’s will prove just as popular, and that this light-hearted approach to a serious subject will provide fascinating information about health & wellbeing issues in today’s society.

So go on, fill in the survey and (anonymously!) let Professor Wiseman know your innermost secrets and desires…we’ll probably fill it in tomorrow, if we’re not too slothful.

Tickets for the Seven Deadly Sins event – as well as for the rest of the Festival’s wide-ranging programme of activities – are available now on the Edinburgh International Science Festival website.
