Run with Mark (and Michelle)
The local lad appeared on GMTV news last week before his first of 3 marathons in Edinburgh shopping centres. Mark would love for residents of Edinburgh to pop along and see him this weekend between 12pm and 4pm in Princes Mall shopping centre at Waverley Market.
Say hello to marathon Mark as he runs 26 miles on a treadmill and make a donation, no matter how small. Every penny will help reach his target for the Edinburgh Headway Group. This week sees a very special friend give Mark lots of support whilst he runs – Michelle the bear. She will be there to hand out information, pose for photographs and keep the young visitors amused.
Costume Ha ha from the Edinburgh Grassmarket have kindly let Michelle attend this weeks’ event to encourage more youngsters appreciate Mark’s running and has stickers for younger fans. Edinburgh Spotlight will also be attendance, so please stop by and say hello to us*.
If you can’t make this weeks’ event, you can see him on 10th April as he undertakes another marathon in St James Centre. We know he would appreciate your support, so make the effort and see Mark in action before he starts the 50 marathons.
