We were welcomed by the staff and seated, but it wasn’t really explained to us how it worked and if we were allowed more than one visit to the food (we were). There are enough choices to satisfy both vegetarians and meat eaters. The choices when we dined consisted of one table with lamb madras, chicken pathia, chicken korma, chicken tikka bhuna, pilau rice and chicken chat pat.
And on the other table, were the vegetarian choices of mixed vegtable pakora, chana herbs, vegetable jalfrezi, tarka dal alongside rice and nan bread.
Not one to by shy of food, I piled a lot of everything on the plate and retreated to my table for a feast. The food was ok, but not outstanding. It’s certainly good value and perfect for filling up on.
I had a second plateful as did my three dining partners and left ourselves too full for the ice cream for dessert.
There is no corkage charge for BYOB and house wine is reasonable at £11 a bottle. Red Fort also do pre theatre dining deals.
Not my favourite Indian restaurant in town, but for that price – it certainly satisfies an Indian meal fix.
Suitable for disabled ? Yes, ground access and fully accessible toilets on the same floor.

Went there a few weeks ago, absolutely horrendous in every aspect. The waiters showed me and my wife no respect, made us wait over an hour for our food to arrive which was cold. No apology, just laughter when I demanded a discount. Never will I ever go back to the monstrosity of an establishment again. Suggest everyone else who reads this take notice and tell your friend so that you don’t have to make the same mistake.
