Laughter Yoga was developed by an Indian doctor, Dr Kataria, who recongnised that hearty laughter provides a great cardio workout, boosts your immune system, reduces pain and can help with weight loss; proving that laughter really is the best medicine. Laughter sessions are based on the scientific fact that your body can’t tell the difference between real laughter and fake laughter, which means that you can benefit from all the physiological benefits, including getting fit by having a good laugh. All you need to bring is an open mind and a childlike willingness to play.
