EVENT – Poetry on the Castle for Valentine’s Day

The unique and thought-provoking Carry A Poem event continues this weekend with a line from Douglas Dunn’s poem “Disenchantments” set to be projected onto Edinburgh Castle from dusk on Sunday 14th.

Appropriately for Valentine’s Day, the line has a romantic overtone: “Look to the living, love them, and hold on” will be the words appearing on the north face of Castle Rock, adding a striking and poetic touch to the city centre.

This will appear for one night only; although other poetic projections are appearing on the City Chambers, the Usher Hall, the National Library of Scotland and the foot of Leith Walk until March.

More details on the Carry A Poem initiative are available online here.
