Mary King’s Ghost Fest 2010
Mary King’s Ghost Fest will run from Thursday 18 to Tuesday 23 March 2010 and will include favourites like celebrity-lead ghost hunts, events using technical equipment such as the ever popular electronic voice phenomenon (EVP), as well as unique paranormal explorations that have never before taken place.
Lisa Robshaw, Ghost Fest organiser and Marketing Manager at The Real Mary King’s Close visitor attraction who run the festival, commented: “This year we’re taking the Mary King’s Ghost Fest to another level by having it in March. Perhaps the dark nights will draw out even more of Edinburgh’s notorious ghostly figures! We’ve also decided to pack in many fantastic activities for people to experience over a slightly shorter time span, to enable short stay visitors to Edinburgh to cram in as much as possible over the five days.”
Now in its 6th year, 2010 looks set to be the best year yet for Mary King’s Ghost Fest, which has become an established and much anticipated feature on the Edinburgh festival calendar. New venues, partners and events expand this city-wide phenomenon year on year, promising to reveal the capital city’s deepest, darkest secrets for novices and expert ghost hunters alike!
