Ocean Terminal is 3 miles from Edinburgh city centre and is very easy to get to from town if you are a tourist. It’s a great place for a wet weather day as it houses, restaurants, shops, cinemas and The Royal Yacht Britannia
You can get the LRT bus numbers 1, 11, 22, 34, 35 and 36 right outside the door but if you are drving, the parking is free.

Inside Ocean Terminal

Fashion Shop
The two main department stores within are Debenhams and British Home Stores. Fashion shops include New Look, Gap, Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop and Schuh. More recently opened is the new Superdry Store which has proven to be very popular.
There is a Build a Bear workshop for children and the indoor play centre, Molly’s. There are also several gift shops, a beauty salon and hairdressers and many choices for refreshments and something to eat. The main dining area looks out onto the harbour with outdoor seating for those Edinburgh sunny days.

Looking down onto Zizzi and Ocean Bar
There is a Vue cinema in Ocean Terminal which has 12 screens showing all the latest films.
Full shopping guide can be found HERE.
Ocean Terminal has vastly improved since it opened, but I still feel it’s lacking a certain something before it’s a great shopping centre. There is a Marks and Spencers mini food hall and the wonderful Baxter’s shop, but shops like Next are missing.
Suitable for disabled ? Yes, completely. They have disabled parking and lifts making every floor accessible and disabled toilets.
