The Edinburgh Gang Show is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Starting in 1960, there has been a production every year since then, involving some 3000 Scouts and Guides. The Gang Show was created by Ralph Reader, CBE. More information on him can be found HERE. The first Gang Show was performed in 1932, but the British involvement started during World War 2 when the famous RAF Gang Shows started including some stars such as Peter Sellers and Tony Hancock.
The tradition continues today and is a brilliant starter to the festive season productions around the city.
The Gang Show opens on Tuesday 17th November and runs until Saturday 21st (additional matinee performance). You can buy your tickets through the EFT website
Edinburgh Spotlight is attending the show on the opening night with a review being published in the early hours of Wednesday.
