I first reviewed a trip to the Lauriston Farm Toby Carvery a few months back – HERE I said that I would never go back with children, which I have not done, but for £5 during the day, you can’t get a better meal for a couple of adults.

Again, the portions of meat were extremely generous and I am pleased to say that all the sauces and gravy bowls were full today (although the plates still far too hot).
Dessert was HUGE – the apple pie was big enough for 2 (even with my appetite) and came with bottomless custard jug, although I didn’t need it refilled.
Again, time was short so we had to eat in this area, but it did the job. It’s extremely good value and I must try one of their theme nights out soon. It’s always busy, so be prepared to wait up to 5-10 minutes at the food counter.
Suitable for disabled ? Yes, a section is on ground level as are the bathrooms
