The majority of the Fringe tickets go on sale tomorrow via the High Street office or online via www.edfringe.com
However, some are on sale NOW so perfect to grab the preview prices and the 2 for 1′s on the 9th and 10th.
Venues with tickets on sale now
So if the shows you want to see are at these venues, grab them now to avoid the rush tomorrow to get the bargain tickets.
I Love Edinburgh is a festival lover and has seen 100s of shows over the years (mainly comedy and dance). I have bought tickets (or about to tomorrow) for the following shows so far (all preview prices or 2 for 1) . All are linked and will take you to the show description.
Jason Byrne Consistently funny, new material every year, includes a lot of swearing and don’t sit near the front !
Tom Tom Crew Come highly recommended from a friend
Kevin Bridges This guy is my MUST SEE of the fringe, he is a very funny Glaswegian comedian (going to see him tonight at the Leith festival, review to follow). Have seen him 4 times and has never disappointed. REVIEW ADDED
Micky Flanagan Have seen him in previous years, always funny.
Richard Simms Taking a gamble on this one, but should be fun since it’s an interactive show with breakfast included !!
Pythonesque Will be a first for me
Etch a Sketch Another first
Paul Zerdin Have seen this ventriloquist on TV and was very impressed
Other top recommendations from me are Adam Hills who is always funny and his Sunday night shows are sign interpreted for the deaf, but very funny to watch ! Also the EFT Comedy Gala is super value for money. Michael McIntyre is hosting this years show again with a variety of comedians. Show lasts about 3 hours and you see 12 + comedians each doing a stint of their funniest gags. I also recommend Ivan Brackenbury – he’s been very good the 2 times I have seen him, my review of his show is HERE
Last recommendation at the moment is a musical tour of Edinburgh by Graeme Pearson – www.oortours.com and my review is HERE
No money to spend at all ? Try the Edinburgh Free Festival
More to come…………………

Alison, I don’t know when or where he is playing, but I saw a preview from Stewart Lee in the downstairs room of a pub here in London, and he was great.
It was a double-header and the other act was Bridget Christie, “My Daily Mail Hell” – less well known, but also very funny!
Thanks, will try and check him out.
He is playing at The Stand, but no cheap previews or 2for1s for his show, so will wait till 2nd or 3rd week to see him.
