Hidden garden on the Royal Mile

There’s a wee secret garden off the Royal Mile in Edinburgh which is a popular place for locals’ to hang out and read books, have their lunch, sit in peacefulness.

There’s a clue in the name to where it is.  Don’t tell too many people as we don’t want it over run.

Suitable for disabled? The ground is flat, but there are stony chips on the path, so not the best for wheels, but could be done.

    I went down to Dunbar’s Close this weekend to see the garden, but it was locked and I couldn’t get in – how does one get into it?

      That’s strange, it’s always open normally. Perhaps because it was a long weekend? I was there last week and it was open (Tuesday).
