Morningside is a lovely area to spend a couple of hours in, wandering around the shops. There’s all kinds, from fancy boutiques, to crafts shops to old fashioned book shops. There’s a lot of coffee shops to choose from, but my personal favourite is Loopy Lornas. Or if you really want a drink after shopping, then try The Canny Mans Pub. Lots of buses head up through Morningside, or is is walkable from the Meadows / Bruntsfield Area.
SUITABLE FOR DISABLED ? On the whole, yes. Morningside is situated on a slope and some shops may not be accessible.
