REVIEW – Winter Wonderland

Every year, a Winter Wonderland is set up in East Princes Street Gardens. There are rides for the children (and adults), an ice rink, places to eat and drink all in the lead up to Christmas and Hogmanay Celebrations. You get great views and photo opportunities during the day from the big wheel.

This picture was taken whilst in motion on the wheel !   Cost to ride it is £3.50 per person, it goes around a few times for that, but loading people on and off gives you more time if you don’t mind getting stuck at the top !

Open during the day and well into the evening.   More info

SUITABLE FOR DISABLED ? Access into Princes Street Gardens East is on flat level from both sides and there are sloped paths down to the rides, along by the wheel / Scott Monument.
